Most people will feel a change in their symptoms in one visit, however, a series of visits is recommended for complete restoration. For more acute or subacute cases, 3-6 sessions are typically sufficient. For more chronic and multiple body part cases, treatment may take 6-12 visits, depending on various factors.
Colorado Restoration Physical Therapy is a cash-based physical therapy practice, commonly referred to as an out-of-network provider. Payment is collected at the time of service, and you will be provided a super bill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement through your out-of-network coverage. We do not guarantee any reimbursement and encourage you to call your insurance before the initial evaluation to check if pre-authorization is required.
A typical outpatient physical therapy office will schedule you for 2-3 sessions per week, often for a minimum of six weeks. Although these sessions are most commonly booked in 30-minute slots, with therapists having back-to-back patients, it is rare for a patient to get a full 30 minutes with the therapist. At Colorado Restoration Physical Therapy, you will always get a full, uninterrupted hour with the therapist.
Most insurance co-pays are $20-$60 before deductibles are met, so a typical 12-week treatment (2x sessions per week) would range from $240-$720. However, before deductibles are met, a 12-week treatment can cost $1500-$2000 ($130-$165 per session). With a cash-based system where you are provided a superbill, your full treatment will likely require far fewer sessions and can be scheduled at a cadence based on your diagnosis and the progression of your healing. This reduction in sessions eliminates time driving to and from your appointment, time off work or school, and more time between sessions, allowing the body to learn and adapt to the exercises. Average super bill reimbursement rates in Colorado are 25-40% after the deductible is met, so 4 sessions at Colorado Restoration Physical Therapy will cost an average of $450-$560, similar to the cost of that experienced at a typical clinic. Ultimately, the decision to adopt this superbill model was made by Colorado Restoration Physical Therapy to allow them to provide the highest quality treatment experience for patients.

A session includes collecting information on the history of your present condition and a postural photo of how you stand and are positioned against gravity. Tyler will perform full body testing to document objective measures that can be retested after treatment. Finally, Tyler will provide education about your body, how it moves, how it positions itself, and why you are having the pain you have.
